The team began the event with a meet and greet with Team Canada. Later that day, USA and Canada competed on site while other countries competed remotely. After the final scores came in for the day, Team USA took 1st place, Canada placed 2nd, and Namibia placed 3rd.
Coach Mindy Lyle said, “Brody and the Acorn Archery team have had an amazing year! The team took 2nd place at District and Brody placed 1st. The team then placed 1st at State and Brody placed 2nd as an individual. They went on to compete at Nationals where they qualified for the World Championship as a team and Brody placed 4th to qualify as an individual. I am very proud of the entire team and Brody’s performance at the Championship was amazing.”
