The Mena Bearcat Golf team won their season opening match held at the New Haven Golf Course in Texarkana. Austin Johnston fired a 38 to win the match.
The team traveled to Nashville on Monday, August 22nd where Austin Johnston and Daniel Davis led the Bearcats to team score of 115, to take first place at Nashville Country Club. Johnston and Davis tied for low round, both firing a 38 to lead the way. Host Nashville came in second with a 143. Bearcat Golf is coached by Ray Hunter.
