    Backpack Food Program at Mena High School

    Hailey Knitting and Natalie Rose (JAG students) are filling backpacks with groceries so needy students at Mena High School can have food on the weekends. This project was initiated by Rice Depot of Arkansas.  They continue to support us monthly, but many times we run out of food.     Ladycats Travel to Fountain Lake

    The results of Mena Ladycats Volleyball games at Fountain Lake on Tuesday, September 10 are: Mena Jr. Junior Varsity defeated Fountain Lake 2-0. Mena Jr. Varsity defeated Fountain Lake 2-0. Mena Sr. Varsity defeated Fountain Lake 3-0 by scores of 25-17, 25-5, and 25-16. The Ladycats Volleyball team is directed by Coach Brad Lyle.

    Bearcat Tennis Results

    The Mena Tennis team traveled to Subiaco on Tuesday, September 3.  Mena won two games to Subiaco’s six. Daniel Maechler picked up his victory in the Boy’s Singles division.  Zane Sherrer and Nick Renard grabbed Mena’s second win in the Boy’s Doubles competition.
