This year at the 2017 National EAST Conference, Cossatot River High School EAST students had the opportunity to connect with students and staff from other EAST programs and present to and network with some amazing guests such as Congressman Bruce Westerman’s Field Representative Cara Cox, and Ben Farley, Senior Adviser at the U.S Department of State Office of Global Criminal Justice.
CRHS EAST students received numerous complements on how professional they were, the quality and sophistication of the projects they were presenting, and their level of excitement for and commitment to their EAST program and local communities.
“They truly were a class act and I could not be more proud of how they represented our program and our district. The students have come back with some great ideas for new projects and ways to improve projects they are already working on. They are fired up and ready to use what they have learned to serve and hopefully better our community in a positive way, said CRHS EAST Facilitator Mrs. Huckabey.
