Hannah Bell, daughter of Nate and Phyllis Bell, has been selected to represent the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas Associated Student Government at the SEC Exchange conference in July. Hannah was elected by her peers along with fifty other student leaders this past March to represent the almost 26,000 students of the University of Arkansas. Hannah was a member of the Associated Student Government FreshH.O.G.S. (Helping Our Government Succeed) program during the 2013-2014 school year. The purpose of the Associated Student Government is to, “act as an organized voice for all students at the University of Arkansas, to effectively represent students in the University‘s decision and policy making process and to provide a broad educational experience for students, while promoting citizenship on campus and in the greater community. In doing so, ASG knowingly and responsibly recognizes the students‘ roles in the shared governance at the University of Arkansas” (asg.uark.edu).
