Herman Glenn Bittle

Herman Glenn Bittle age 69 of Mena, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

He was born on August 28, 1948 to Guy and Hazel Carr Bittle in Heber Springs, Akansas. Glenn was a member of the Church of Christ and served his country in the United States Army. He also drove a truck for 38 years.Glenn and his wife Vicki were married on December 3, 1977 in Mena, Arkansas. Above all Glenn loved God and his family. He was loving and thoughtful husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and friend to all.

He is survived by Wife Vicki Bittle of Mena, Arkansas.  Daughters Emily Bevil and husband Matt of Mena, Arkansas, Amy Alvis and husband Calvin of Mena, Arkansas.  Grand-daughter August Alvis of Mena, Arkansas.  Brother Howard Lee and wife Merel of Ft. Worth, Texas.  Sister Joyce Holman of Ada, Oklahoma. Sisters-in-law Judy Rice and husband Cliff of Lubbock, Texas; Beverly Bruster of Mena, Arkansas. Brother-in-law Roger Bruster and wife Leianna of Mena, Arkansas.  Many nieces and nephews and a host of friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Hazel Bittle father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hollie and Jewel Bruster, brother-in-law Dale Holeman, nephew Jeffery Holeman,and his grandparents and many aunts and uncle.

Mr. Bittle was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.

A memorial service will be held June 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of Christ, Hwy. 71 South , Mena, Arkansas.
