Hildred Grenita Gray, age 71, a resident of Nashville, Arkansas, died Monday, February 17, 2014 in Mercy Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
She was born February 7, 1943 in Winthrop, Arkansas. She was the first female truck driver for Sevier County Road Department and was a Christian.
Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her parents John Lionel and Pearlie Mae Milam Briggs and one daughter Amanda Merworth.
She is survived by her husband Larry Gray; two sons and daughters-in-law Danny and Angelica Fatheree of Nashville, AR and Allen and Lavene Briggs of Grannis, AR; three daughters and two sons-in-law Dedee Williamson and Glenda and Ray Stinnett all of De Queen, AR, Krystel and Tim Norman of Wickes, AR; two sisters Kay Canada of Booneville, AR and Thelma Harberson of Lockesburg, AR; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mrs. Gray will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2014 in the Geneva Missionary Baptist Church with Travis Lane officiating.
