This weekend will be your last chance to see the JOLT production of two plays, Hansel & Gretel and The Secret Garden. Each show opens with Hansel & Gretel, a one act play, has a superb cast. The young children will amaze you with their ability to remember their lines and bring each character to life. As young Hansel and Gretel spend the night in the forest they learn to overcome their fears and use their wits to save themselves from the oven of the evil witch.
The second play of the night, The Secret Garden, is the story of a young girl who has recently become orphaned and is sent to her wealthy uncle’s mansion. She uncovers more than what she bargained for when she meets, for the first time, people that she actually likes and discovers a secret garden that changes her world.
If you saw the show last weekend, don’t worry, there will be new actors playing the some of the roles so it will create a new experience for those who have seen it before.
These are two shows that you don’t want to miss! Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.
