This Friday night, October 25, at 7:30 PM, at the Ouachita Little Theatre, (OLT), is the beginning of the last weekend of Dial M for Murder, the play by Frederick Knott, that ended up in the wonderful Alfred Hitchcock movie of the same name. It is the story about a wealthy but naïve woman married to an unscrupulous, ruthless, scheming man who is trying to find a way to get rid of her and inherit her money. The play will run just this weekend, October 25-27. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7:30 PM and Sunday’s performance will be at 2:30 PM.
Tickets, at $8 for adults, and $5 for students, and seniors, 60 and over, are on sale at Arvest Bank, 1608 Highway 71 North. They can also be purchased by going to www.oltmena.com, and clicking on Buy Tickets. As always, they may be purchased at the door 45 minutes before each performance.
Dial M for Murder is directed by OLT Board Member and Choreographer, Jennifer Ogger, with assistant director, Board Member Scotty Jenkins. OLT President, Tim Hesse has designed the set, and is responsible for costuming. This is a play that is suitable for anyone of middle-school age and above.
The seasoned OLT cast, features Kassi Moe, Chris Kuskie, and Jefferson Smith, in the roles of the woman, her former lover, and her husband.
