On December 19th, the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 18 presented the UA Rich Mountain Foundation with a donation for scholarships. The American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 18 is a non-profit organization comprised of women or their descendants, of men who have served in the military during periods of war. The organization provides community service, conducts fundraisers, supports Girls’ State delegates, lobbies for veterans rights, promotes patriotism, and works to improve the local community. The UA Rich Mountain Foundation would like to thank the Auxiliary for their generous support each year for scholarships to assist UA Rich Mountain students with educationally-related expenses.
