She was preceded in death by her father Emmett Sherman of Mena, AR.
She is survived by her husband Ronnie Spoon of Mena, AR; her mother Ruth Sherman of Mena, AR; one brother Larry Sherman and wife Gwen of Nashville, AR; two children Ronnie Borin and fiancé Charissa Ursua of Mena, AR, and Tammie Wheless and husband Darrell of Mena, AR; five step-children Don Borin and wife Felicia of Ardmore, OK, Becky Hooten of North Little Rock, AR, Ronnie Spoon and wife Tracy of Miami, OK, Jerry Spoon and wife Bessy of Miami, OK and Leisa Eaton of Mena, AR; 3 grandchildren Whitley Borin, Devin Wheless and Payton Wheless; 8 step-grandchildren Michael, Mitchel, Morgan, Ronnie, Kayla and Ryan Weisinger, and Ashley Dixon, and Brandi Eaton; and 7 step-great-grandchildren Kinley, Michael, Khloe, Cason, Kenneth, Dustin, and Ellie and a host of other family and friends.
A graduate of Mena High School, she worked for Rich Mountain Manor, Wal-Mart, Dr. Cook, Cowden’s and USA Drugs.
Linda will be remembered by family and friends as a hard worker whose love for people endeared her to the hearts of many. Her love of music came from a family history of musical talent. A treasured possession was her piano on which she enjoyed playing. At the time of her death, the music “Beulah Land” was displayed on her piano and appropriately will be sung at her memorial service. Years ago she made preparation to spend Eternity with her Lord in a place she longed for – “Beulah Land”.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29th at the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home Chapel.
A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held Sunday, March 30th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home in Mena. Interment follows in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home
Pallbearers are Ronnie Borin, Gary Williamson, Robbie Sherman, Waldo White, Ryan Weisinger, Ronnie Fred Spoon, and Don Borin.
