The Polk County Sheriff’s Department and the 18th West Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Thursday, April 20, 2017, that was the result of a narcotic investigation conducted by the two agencies. The warrant resulted in the finding of drugs and paraphernalia and led to the arrest of Patrick R. Tosta, age 32, of Mena.
Tosta has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with the Purpose to Deliver; Maintaining a Drug Premise; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and Possession of Marijuana.
The warrant was executed at Tosta’s residence at 1519 Reine Street in Mena. Deputies and DTF Investigators recovered approximately 11 grams of methamphetamines, marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Tosta is currently in the Polk County Detention Center awaiting formal arraignment. Bond has not been set at this time.
Polk County Sheriff Scott Sawyer said, “We will continue our efforts combating drugs in Polk County. I’m proud of our guys. They are working hard and doing a good job.”
