Local Students at SAU Named to President’s and Dean’s Lists

MAGNOLIA, AR – Southern Arkansas University has announced the names of 251 students who earned a 4.0 GPA for the Fall 2016 semester to secure a prestigious spot on the President’s List.

Students from this area include: Allison Hughes, a senior Elementary Education major, from Mena. Bethany Barney, a senior Agricultural Education major, from Mena. Candace Ford, a junior Elementary Education major, from Wickes. Cheyenne Anderson, a senior Agriculture Business major, from Mena. Cheyenne Bell, a junior Agricultural Education major, from Cove. Daryan Torix, a sophomore Athletic Training major, from Mena. Jaqueline Wagner, a senior Elementary Education major, from Mena. Kara Richardson, a sophomore Elementary Education major, from Grannis. Lucas Head, a senior Agriculture Business major, from Mena. Tamra Hudson, a senior Elementary Education major, from Cove.

Southern Arkansas University also announced the Fall 2016 semester Dean’s List, which is comprised of 514 students who earned a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Students from this area include: Elizabeth Baker, a sophomore Pre-Nursing (BSN) major, from Mena. Rachel Bowling, a senior Elementary Education K-6 major, from Mena. Summer Daugherty, a senior Management major, from Hatfield. Tara Davis, a freshman Elementary Education K-6 major, from Mena. Chance Dearing, a senior Agriculture Business major, from Cove. Reba Faye McLellan, a sophomore Undeclared major, from Hatfield. Donah Simmons, a senior Elementary Education K-6 major, from Mena. Shelby Vaughn, a senior Elementary Education K-6 major, from Mena. Taylor Ward, a senior Social Work major, from Mena. Jodi West, a senior Elementary Education K-6 major, from Mena.
