Mena Police Department activity for the week starting August 4 through August 10, 2013 follows:

 August 4, 2013

Officers responded to a domestic dispute at a local residence.  A father and son were having an altercation.  No charges were filed.

Employees at a local convenience store reported a gas skip in the amount of $126.03.   No vehicle description was available.

August 5, 2013

A local woman reported that her soon to be ex-husband is harassing her on the telephone.  Case is pending.

Officers responded to a complaint on the parking lot of a local retail store.  Witnesses reported that a man and woman were fighting.  It was determined that the fight was verbal only and no charges were filed.

N. Nadean Williams, 35, of Mena turned herself in on an outstanding warrant from North Little Rock.

August 6, 2013

A Mena woman reported that someone had stolen all her prescription medication from her home.  Case is pending.

August 7, 2013

A local woman reported that her brother is harassing her on Facebook.

Christa Marie Holliday, 23, of Mena was arrested on two outstanding warrants for failure-to-appear and failure-to-appear to pay fines and court costs.  Both warrants were from the Mena Police Department.

August 8, 2013

Officers responded to an alarm call at a local bank.  The alarm company reported that it was a false alarm, and the area was secure.

Officers responded to an alarm call at a local clinic.  Employees had inadvertently set off the alarm.  The building was secure.

Officers responded to an alarm at a local residence.  The person who cleans the house had accidentally set off the alarm.

Mary Page, 56, of Mena was charged with public intoxication after officers were called to a disturbance at a local apartment building.

August 9, 2013

A local man reported a man he knows slightly, walked unannounced into his home through the back door.  He told the man to leave, then observed the suspect letting the air out of the tires on his (the victim’s) vehicle.  Case is pending identification and interview of the suspect.

Ethan Aaron Ross, 18, of Mena was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant from Polk County.

Steven Randall Tilley, 22, of Mena was charged with failure-to-appear to pay fines and court costs from the Mena Police Department.

Jonathan Evan Montgomery, 24, was charged with third degree battery after an incident at a local mobile home park.  Also charged in the incident with violation of an order of protection and disorderly conduct was Robert James Stine, 48, also of Mena.

Officers traveled to the Scott County Jail and Damon Westmoreland, 47 of Waldron was brought back to Polk County and served an outstanding warrant.

August 10, 2013

No criminal reports filed.

Officers completed an additional 12 reports and worked three accidents.
