Mena Police Department: February 7-13, 2016

Officers responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute at a local convenience store.  No charges were filed.

A 16-year-old Mena youth was charged with criminal trespass and third degree battery.  Case sent to juvenile authorities.

Michael Hensley, 45, of Mena was charged with third degree battery after a call to a local residence.

February 8, 2016

Michael Hook, 55, of Mena was charged with DWI.

Anthony Harley, 23, of Fort Smith was charged with theft of property (shoplifting).

A local man reported that a security camera had been stolen from his property.
Case pending.

February 11, 2016

Two reports were taken of possible prowlers at two local residences.  No suspects were located.

Two reports were taken of gas skips at local convenience stores.  Cases are pending.

February 12, 2016

Kendra Davis, 30, of Mena was charged with possession of schedule VI controlled substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule I or I controlled substance, driving on a suspended driver’s license, having no vehicle tags, and having no proof of insurance.

February 13, 2016

Report was taken of a hit-and-run accident at a local residence.  Case is pending.

SCAM REPORT:  People claiming to be from the IRS are calling local residents wanting personal information.  IRS does not work this way.  The IRS contacts taxpayers by mail.  Be aware.
