The following information was received from Mena Police Department for the week of June 22-28, 2014. The charges against those arrested are allegations and the cases are still pending in the courts. Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.
June 22, 2014
Jesus Enrique Diaz, 55, of Mena was charged with disorderly conduct after a call to a local residence.
A 17-year-old Mena youth was charged with purchasing intoxicating liquids after a call to a local residence.
Candi Marie Hildebrand, 31, and Thomas Hildebrand, 24, both of Mena have been charged with felony forgery and theft by receiving.

A local woman reported that someone had stolen several checks from her checkbook and had forged at least one of them. Case is pending further investigation.

Robert Neal Morgan, 31, of Mena was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the state of Texas.

Keshia Rene Winger, 23, of Mena was charged with disorderly conduct after a call to a local residence.
June 27, 2014
A local man reported that someone had broken into his brother-in-law’s storage shed and had stolen several tools. Case is pending further investigation.
A local man reported that someone had gained entry into his vehicle and had strewn several items on the ground. Case is pending.
Owner of a local appliance store reported that someone had stolen the copper wiring from an air conditioning unit from the alleyway behind the store. Case is pending.
Employees of a local retail store reported a pair of boots stolen from the store. Case is pending.
Employees at a local hair salon reported that someone had shattered the front glass of the building and had “spun out” on the parking lot, damaging the surface of the lot. Case is pending.
June 28, 2014
Elijan Zachariah Reed 29, of Mena was charged with disorderly conduct (harassment) and providing tobacco to a minor.
Officers completed an additional eight reports and worked five accidents.
