Mena Police Department: November 9-15, 2014

November 9, 2014

Paul M. Henry, 29, of Mena was charged with terroristic threatening and harassing communications after an incident with a local couple.

Manager of a local u-lock-it storage facility reported that someone had broken into several of the units.  The locks had been cut.  Case is pending further investigation.

Jeffery B. Manning, 54, of Parks charged with DWI, careless driving, defective equipment, and refusing a BAC.  The arrest followed a routine traffic stop.

November 10, 2014

Report was taken of a fight at a local mobile home park.  One of the parties left the area, and no charges have been filed.

November 11, 2014

Two 17-year-old Mena girls were charged with third degree battery, harassment, and disorderly conduct after officers were called to a local residence.

November 12, 2014

No criminal reports filed.

November 13, 2014

A local man reported that a storage building on his property had been vandalized.  Case is pending further information.

A Mena man reported that while he was at lunch, someone had stolen his cell phone from his place of business.  Case is pending.

November 14, 2014

A local woman reported that when she attempted to serve eviction papers on a local couple, the woman hit her and threw rocks at her vehicle.  Officers cited the couple for failure-to-vacate.

 November 15, 2014

Hannah Leann White, 31, of Mena was charged with theft of property (shoplifting) after a call to a local retail store.  Also charged in the incident with theft by receiving was Eric Jonathan Burk, 31, of Cove.

A local woman reported that while her daughter was in a local farm store, someone shot the window of her vehicle with a BB gun.  Case is pending.

A local woman reported that her former daughter-in-law had damaged a laptop computer and knocked a hole in one of the bedroom doors of her home.  The victim did not wish to press charges.

Officers completed an additional 11 reports and worked four accidents.
