Youth from the Mt. View United Methodist Church, raised money for special projects and decided to help Rock Port, Texas, southwest of Houston, after they suffered heavy losses following Hurricane Harvey.
With the children leading, the congregation followed, by providing additional five-gallon buckets overflowing with materials for repairs and items for daily use. Bibles were included in every bucket, as another measure of support. Others in the community helped pack the vehicle with more tools, and the exercise class at U of A Rich Mountain sent over 100 pairs of socks along with cleaning supplies.
