She was born June 27, 1929 in Denver, Colorado to the late Jefferson Paul Carter and the late Margaret Greedy Carter. She was married for 42 happy years to the late Edward Joseph Carlson and was of the Bahai faith. Patricia was a homemaker and her greatest joy was spending time with her family and she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be fondly missed.
She is survived by daughters Michell Stockman and husband John of Mena, Arkansas, Margaret Carlson of Cove, Arkansas; sister Ethel Mosher of Chehalis, Washington; brother-in-law Martin Sommerkorn of Pencil Bluff, Arkansas; grandchildren Sherry Sallings of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jonathan Stockman and wife Krista of Dickson, Tennessee; great-grandchildren Violet and Kellen Sallings of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jefferson and Margaret Carter; her husband Edward Joseph Carlson; a sister Joann Sommerkorn; and 2 brothers Donald and George Carter.
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Pencil Bluff Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be general.
