Report from complainant on Bolder Lane near Acorn of non-payment for timber. Investigation continues.

Arrested was Erica L. Lester, 33, of Mena, on a Warrant for Theft of Property.

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Joshua B. Crow, 37, of Dequeen, on Charges of Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License and No License Plate and a Warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order.

Report of the discovery of an illegal substance led to a 15-year-old male being issued a Juvenile Citation for Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance. The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent/guardian.

Report from complainant on West Boundary Road near Mena of the break-in to a vehicle and theft of prescription medication, clothing and accessories. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Polk 714 near Mena of being harassed by an acquaintance.  Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Report from complainant on Highway 88 East near the Cherry Hill community that when they went to pick up a vehicle that they had purchased, it was not there. Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Report from complainant on North Polk Street in Mena of the break-in to a storage building and theft of tools, motorcycle accessories and electronics, all valued at $7,240.00.  Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Highway 375 East near Mena of the break-in to several buildings, with several items missing. Investigation continues.

Arrested was Travis W. Manuel, 39, of Mena, on a Warrant for two counts of Sexual Assault 1st Degree.

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Ricky S. Songer, 26, of Valliant, OK, on a Warrant for Residential Burglary and Theft of Property.

Arrested by an officer with Arkansas Probation & Parole was Joshua D. Fernandez, 30, of Booneville, on four Warrants for Failure to Appear.

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Sarah D. Pitchford, 33, of Cove, on a Warrant for Failure to Appear.

Report from complainant on West Johnson Street in Hatfield of vandalism done to two vehicle windows.  Investigation continues.

Arrested was Ronald D. Staggs, 54, of Mena, on three Warrants for Failure to Comply with a Court Order.

Report of an unattended death on Kings Lane near Acorn. The scene was released to the Polk County Coroner.

Report from complainant on Highway 246 West near Hatfield of a missing vehicle and a stolen firearm. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Highway 8 West near the Shady Grove community of vandalism done to a window, totaling losses at $150.00. Investigation continues.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked one vehicle accident this week.

Polk County Detention Center Jail Population: 26 Incarcerated Inmates, with 9 Inmates currently on the Waiting List for a State Facility.
