Report from a Mena woman of an alleged sexual assault. Deputies responded.  Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Arrested was John D. Hillard, 25, of Mena, on Charges of Possession of a Schedule IV/V Controlled Substance and two counts of Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance.

Report of suspicious items found at a residence on Polk 54 near Mena. Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Report from complainant on LoveLee Lane near Potter of receiving a potential scam in the mail attempting to gain their personal information.

Report of a disturbance on Polk 416 near Potter led to the arrest of Roy R. Savage, 25, of Mena, on Charges of Battery 2nd Degree, Aggravated Assault, and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

Report of a domestic disturbance on Polk 136 near Cove. Deputies responded.  Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Report of a domestic disturbance on Heritage Lane near Hatfield led to the arrest of Floyd T. Frederick, 43, of Hatfield, on a Charge of Domestic Battery 3rd Degree.

Report from complainant on Polk 401 near Mena of being harassed by an acquaintance. Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Request for a welfare check on an individual near Acorn.

Arrested was Tyse D. Lambert, 28, of Mena, on a Charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Report from Polk County Detention Center of the theft of an article of clothing. The item was located. Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Arrested was Raymond D. Arender, 23, of Mena, on a Warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order.

December 17, 2016

Report of a disturbance on Venable Lane near Mena. Suspect fled before deputy arrived. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Highway 246 East in Vandervoort of a person trespassing on their property and vandalizing lawn decorations. Investigation continues.

Report of a domestic disturbance on Polk 30 near Hatfield led to the arrest of Charlie J. Bates, 40, of Hatfield, on a Charge of Domestic Battery 3rd Degree. Additional information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.
