Report from a Vandervoort woman of the theft of a phone, valued at $500.00. Investigation continues.

Report of a structure fire on Polk 41 South near Shady Grove.

Arrested was Rodney J. Emry, 46, of Mena, on a Warrant for Failure to Appear.

January 16, 2018

Report from complainant on Highway 278 near Wickes of the theft of a battery, valued at $125.00. Investigation continues.

January 17, 2018

Report of a disturbance led to a 16-year-old male being issued a Juvenile Citation for Disorderly Conduct. The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent/guardian.

Report of a disturbance on Polk 41 South near Shady Grove.  Deputies responded. Complainant refused to press charges.

Arrested was Ashley C. Casey, 31, of Cove, on a Drug Court Sanction.

Arrested was Sheila M. Akers, 39, of DeQueen, on a Warrant for Felony Failure to Appear.

Report from a Mena woman that an individual had used her vehicle without permission. Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Report from complainant on Polk 76 East near Mena of the theft of a chainsaw. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Highway 8 West near Rocky of the theft of a firearm, valued at $150.00. Investigation continues.

Arrested was Rusty L. Revels, 31, of Mena, on a Charge of Disorderly Conduct.

January 20, 2018

Report of an RV on fire on Zebra Lane near Hatton. Deputy responded.

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Cassandra J. Mosley, 33, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on a Cleveland County, Oklahoma Warrant.

January 21, 2018

Report from complainant on 1st Street in Wickes of being harassed by an acquaintance. Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Report of a one-vehicle accident on Highway 270 near Acorn led to the arrest of Jimmie R. Walker, 48, of Pocola, OK, on Charges of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked one vehicle accident this week.

Polk County Detention Center Jail Population: 21 Incarcerated Inmates, with 4 Inmates currently on the Waiting List for a State Facility.
