Report from complainant on Polk 65 near Opal of an attempted scam concerning the sale of hay.

Report from a Mena woman of a missing 13-year-old female. The juvenile was located and returned to the custody of a parent/guardian.

Report from complainant on Polk 70 near Cherry Hill of being harassed by an acquaintance.  Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Highway 246 East in Vandervoort of being harassed by an acquaintance. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Polk 194 near Ink of being harassed by an acquaintance. Deputy advised subject to cease all contact with complainant.

Traffic stop on Polk 93 near Rocky led to the arrest of David N. Sage, 28, of Mena, on Charges of Public Intoxication, Driving Left of Center, Defective Equipment, Expired Tags and Disorderly Conduct.

Report from complainant on Highway 88 East near Yocana of the theft of an ATV, valued at $2,000.00. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Ryan Lane near Cherry Hill of a missing firearm, valued at $550.00.

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Michael L. Riley, 57, of Texarkana, TX, on Charges of DWI and Public Intoxication.

June 22, 2017

Arrested was Aaron F. Ollar, 29, of Mena, on a Charge of Failure to Comply with Reporting Requirements and a Parole Revocation Warrant.

Report from complainant on Highway 8 East near Big Fork of an attempted scam regarding a collection agency.

Report from a Grannis woman of a missing 8-year-old male. The juvenile was later located at the residence.

Arrested was Viveca N. Daniels, 29, of Wickes, on a Warrant for Parole Revocation.

June 23, 2017

Traffic stop on Polk 37 near Potter led to the arrest of Krystal M. Neer, 31, of Mena, on a Charge of Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License.

Report from walk-in complainant of being harassed by an acquaintance. Investigation continues.

Report of a disturbance on Polk 14 near Wickes. Deputy responded. Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Report from a Scott County woman of problems regarding child custody exchange.

Arrested by a trooper with the Arkansas State Police was Shannon L. McCormick, 45, of Vandervoort, on Charges of DWI-Drugs, Possession of Meth or Cocaine and Careless/Prohibited Driving.

June 24, 2017

Report from complainant on Polk 61 near Board Camp of damage done to a sign, totaling losses at $1,500.00. Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Report from a Hatfield woman of problems regarding child custody exchange.

Arrested was Gary T. Dobbs, 62, of Mena, on a Body Attachment Warrant.

Report from complainant on Polk 20 near Cove of the break-in and theft of household goods, all valued at $100.00. Investigation continues.

June 25, 2017

Report from complainant on Polk 40 near Potter of unauthorized persons on their property.  Deputy responded.

Report from walk-in complainant of a hit-and-run incident while traveling on Polk 31. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Robin Lane near Mena of the theft of a phone, valued at $100.00.  Investigation continues.

Arrested by a trooper with the Arkansas State Police was Patrick A. Green, 49, of Hatfield, on Charges of DWI, Careless/Prohibited Driving and Failure to Signal.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked three vehicle accidents this week.

Polk County Detention Center Jail Population: 26 Incarcerated Inmates, with 6 Inmates currently on the Waiting List for a State Facility.
