Polk County Sheriff’s Department – October 7 – 13

The following information was received from Polk County Sheriff Mike Godfrey for the week of October 7 – October 13, 2013.  The charges against those arrested are allegations and the cases are still pending in the courts.  Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.

October 7, 2013

Report from complainant on Polk 74 near the Ink community of the theft of jewelry valued at $1,620.00.  Investigation continues.

Report of a stolen laptop valued at $1,800.00.  A 13-year-old Texarkana male was issued a Juvenile Citation for Theft and released to the custody of a parent/guardian.

Traffic stop on Highway 71 North in Mena led to the arrest of Frank R. Wall, 63, of Mena, on Charges of Public Intoxication, Possession of an Instrument of Crime, Misbranded Drug or Device and No License Plate.

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Theodore L. Ludlow, 47, of Wickes, on Charges of Public Intoxication and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Scott J. Flournoy, 28, of Wickes, on Charges of DWI, Driving Left of Center and Faulty Equipment.

Report from complainant on Highway 8 West near the Shady Grove community of being harassed by an individual.  Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Traffic stop on Highway 8 East led to the arrest of Michael R. Delmastro, 33, of Mena, on a Warrant for Delivery of Methamphetamine.

Arrested was Stephanie D. Boyd, 26, of Mena, on a Warrant for Probation Violation.

October 9, 2013

Report from walk-in complainant of problems with regaining custody of a child.  Officer advised complainant of options.

Arrested was Bradley D. Warren, 40, of Smithville, OK, on Warrants of Violation of Suspended Imposition of Sentence and two counts of Failure to Comply with a Court Order.

Report of an ATV accident led to the arrest of Thomas L. Smith, 46, and Brandon L. Smith, 25, both of Shreveport, LA, each on a Charge of Public Intoxication.

October 10, 2013

Report from complainant on Polk 44 near Mena of an unauthorized person on their property led to the arrest of Cade W. Lambert, 27, of Mena, on Charges of Public Intoxication and Criminal Trespass and a Warrant for Delivery of a Schedule III Controlled Substance.

Arrested was Francis D. Morgan, 65, of Cove, on a Warrant for Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons and Failure to Comply with Registration Requirements.

October 11, 2013

Traffic stop on Highway 71 South in the Potter community led to the arrest of Stephanie A. Abbott, 33, of Mena, on Charges of Public Intoxication, Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License and No Liability Insurance.

October 12, 2013

Traffic stop on Highway 8 West near the Shady Grove community led to the arrest of Keena-Marie P. Relaford, 21, of Hatfield, on Charges of Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of an Instrument of Crime and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Report of a domestic disturbance on Heritage Lane near Hatfield led to the arrest of Floyd T. Frederick, 40, and Megan R. Frederick, 23, both of Hatfield, each on a Charge of Domestic Battery 3rd Degree.

Report of a disorderly and unauthorized person at a residence on Polk 141 near Cove.  Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

October 13, 2013

Report from a Mena woman of problems with her 15-year-old son led to the youth being issued Juvenile Citations for Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.  The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent/guardian.

Report from complainant on Polk 218 near Cove of the attempted break-in of a rental property.  Nothing seemed to be taken.

Report from complainant on Polk 414 near Hatfield of being harassed by an individual.  Investigation continues.
