Ronald was born on May 11, 1930, in Hatfield Arkansas, to Rosco and Madge Hamby Dagenhart. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed for many years as a supervisor for ARMCO Steel and Wilbros Pipeline Service. While working in the criminal justice field, he was employed with the Ferguson Unit for the past twelve years. Being an avid hunter and fisherman, Ronald loved the outdoors. He loved working on his farm tending to animals and keeping up with the everyday chores of country living.
Mr. Dagenhart was preceded in death by his parents; son Ronald L. Dagenhart; and brother Charles Dagenhart. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Johnnie Mae; son Scott “Troy” Dagenhart and fiancé Crystal Fair; daughter Debbie Bloodhart and step-son Clifford Lee Willis. Also surviving are grandchildren Mark Dagenhart, Dustin Dagenhart, RayAnn Downs, Tommy Downs; and step-grandchildren Christopher Clements, Dana Scott and Johnathan Willis. Other loved ones include great-grandchildren Lane Dagenhart, Jacie Willis, Haley Clements and Cody Clements.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Services are under the direction of Waller-Thornton Funeral Home, Huntsville, Texas.
