SAU Announces 2017-2018 Scholarship Recipients

MAGNOLIA, AR — Southern Arkansas University has announced the awarding of scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Students from this area include:

Carrie Craver of Grannis. Craver received the Top Ten Percent Scholarship, which includes $3,300 per semester and a four-year value of $26,400. Craver is the daughter of Jill Brinkley.

Kadden Crawford of Mena. Crawford received the Achievement Scholarship, which includes $1,000 per semester and a four-year value of $8,000. Crawford is the son of Ken and Cassie Crawford.

Victoria Needham of Cove. Needham received the Achievement Scholarship, which includes $1,000 per semester and a four-year value of $8,000. Needham is the daughter of Cole Needham.

Rodney Purvis of Mena. Purvis received the Blue and Gold Scholarship, which includes $3,300 per semester and a four-year value of $26,400. Purvis is the son of Karen Purvis.

SAU is the fastest growing university in Arkansas and one of the most affordable in the United States. Although SAU maintains low cost to students, quality and student success are still the top priorities.
