(MENA) The Polk County Community Veterans Engagement Team (C-VET) will present a free showing of Suicide – The Ripple Effect, a documentary, in the Ouachita Center at the University of Arkansas – Rich Mountain, on Saturday, July 27th, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Everyone is welcome.
This film is part of a global mission to help reduce the number of suicides and suicide attempts around the world. Through sharing stories of survival and recovery we are creating significant awareness of this health crisis, while helping people find the support they need to stay alive, heal and #BeHereTomorrow!
C-VET is a Polk County based CAB, or community action board, whose purpose is to assist local veterans right at home, to become one hub of resources and help for our veterans. Our hope is that the community will step up and say we love our veterans and want to care for them.
All community members are urged to mark the date and plan to attend and are urged to bring a buddy.
