Miss Polk County Advances to Miss Arkansas Jr. Fair Queen

Mena Regional Health System recently held their Third Annual Employee Chili Cook-Off.  Celebrity judges included: Jay Quebedeaux, CEO; Scott Sawyer, Sheriff; Melanie Wade, Pulse Multi-Media; Ashley Smith, Chamber of Commerce Director; Tonya Frachiseur, Elite Home Health; Mark Hobson, Pulse Multi-Media. Rutledge Honors Chief Deputy as LEO of the Year

Polk County Chief Deputy Randy Jewell was honored as the county’s Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge at the 15th annual Arkansas Law Enforcement Summit to be held on October 3, 2017 at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock. “I am very humbled and honored to be selected,” Jewell said.

Youngblood Awarded MRHS iCare Star Employee

Mena Regional Health System recently awarded Jennifer Youngblood, LPN at Mena Medical Associates, the iCARE Star Employee of the Quarter.  Jennifer received several nominations on her behalf.  As the Star Employee of the Quarter, Jennifer received a day off, her name on the progressive plaque displayed on the iCARE Hall of Fame, and a personal plaque of her own.
