Ted Ray Coon, age 84 of Hatfield, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday January 17, 2018 in Mena, Arkansas.
Mr. Coon was born on July 15, 1933 in Weatherford, Texas to the late Richard Coon and May Myrl Stoker Coon. He was happily married to Dorris Padgett Coon for twenty-nine years. Mr. Coon owned and operated several Electrical Distribution companies as a profession. He was a member of CMA since its beginning and loved all makes and types of motorcycles. He had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed witnessing for the Lord. One of his wishes was that people pray for the Nation of Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. He was a loving and kind husband, father, step-father, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by wife, Dorris Coon of Hatfield, Arkansas; sons, Teddy Ray Coon, Jr. of Holtom City, Texas, Jerry Coon and wife Regina of Ozark, Arkansas, Bradley Coon of Holtom City, Texas, Flynn Coon and wife Rhonda of Wickes, Arkansas, Kenny Williams and wife Tammy of Hartman, Arkansas, Rob Williams and wife Anna of Springdale, Arkansas, Daniel Williams and wife Amy Jo of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; daughters, Janet Martinez and husband Manuel of Holtom City, Texas, Kelle Foster and husband Kelly of Chesapeake, Virginia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Tony Coon and wife Linda of Fort Worth, Texas, Bill Presley of Fort Worth, Texas; special friends, Robert Taylor and wife Vida of Texas, Allen Winkley of Cove, Arkansas; and companion, His dog Goldie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Richard Coon, and sister, Betty Fae Presley.
Mr. Coon was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
