The Allure Consignment, in the retail space on the west side of the Ouachita Little Theatre (OLT), at 610 Mena St., has new owners. They are the Bosch family: Vicki Bosch; her daughter, Traci Hostetler; and cousin, Barbara Thompson. They took over the space about a week ago, closed the store, and did reorganizing and adding of stock in preparation for the grand reopening on Saturday, August 3. Until recently, the store had been in the other, smaller retail rental space, on the east side of the OLT entryway. The OLT owns both rental spaces, and now uses the smaller space for a theater office and voice/piano lesson studio for voice coach, Lisa Screeton.
The new, larger Allure space enables the new owners to expand their stock in a way that makes it easier for customers to view. “We believe the location of the new The Allure, with its bright walls, big windows, and storefront location right in the heart of downtown will appeal to both buyers and sellers of gently used brand-name clothing,” said Hostetler. “The store has been very appealing to a wide variety of customers looking for things like designer jeans, shoes, and tops. We have expanded our offerings to also include a lot of children’s clothing, as well as ‘plus’ sizes. We expect these two key additions to what lots of people already visit the store for, will appeal to an even broader segment of the Polk County population.”
The Allure Consignment has new expanded hours compared to the old shop. New store hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and 9 AM to 3 PM, on Saturday for both those interested in selling or buying gently used, brand name clothing. They can be liked on Facebook at The Allure Consignment. The telephone number is (479) 216-8030. When it comes to bargains on great designer and other brand name clothing, there is no question the allure is at The Allure Consignment!
