Philip Hensley, President & CEO, Union Bank of Mena has announced the promotion of several team members.
Kevin Williams has been promoted to Chief Risk Officer of Union Bank of Mena and Union Bankshares, Inc., the holding company for Union Bank of Mena and First National Bank at Paris. Williams, who has been with Union Bank for fourteen years, previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance and Risk Management. Prior to his career at Union Bank of Mena, Williams was a Senior Bank Examiner with the Arkansas State Banking Department. An alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado Springs, Williams is currently a Mena Airport Commissioner and a member of the Mena Lions Club.
Pilar Fowler has been promoted to Assistant Compliance / BSA Officer. Fowler, who has been with Union Bank for four years was most recently Accounting Officer, and prior to that, an Account Services Representative. Pilar serves on the Polk County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is a member of the Polk County Rotary Club.
Cassondra Gortemiller has been promoted to Accounting Clerk. Gortemiller was previously an Account Services Representative with Union Bank of Mena and has been with the bank for three years.
