There will be an open house on the bicycle/pedestrian plan throughout Mena at The Ouachita Center on the UA Rich Mountain campus, 5:30-7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19.
Mena Mayor Seth Smith wrote in an email, “This is great movement forward on the future bike/ped[estrian] plan through town. The engineering firm, Crafton Tull, will help facilitate the meeting.
“This will be much like the public meeting that occurred in March 2022 at the historic [train] depot. It will help educate the public on planning, and also seeking input to include in the master plan for connection throughout Mena. I’m hoping for another “pep rally” at this meeting!”
