The Alpha Kappa scholarship is a non-renewable, five-hundred-dollar ($500) scholarship for the first semester of the freshman year, payable to either the registrar of an accredited Arkansas college for credit to recipient’s account or to the student herself upon proof of enrollment in an accredited Arkansas college.
- To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Be a senior girl graduating from a high school located in a school district in which an Alpha Kappa member is a resident or a teacher.
- Have at least a 2.50 high school grade point average based upon a four-point scale.
- Have exhibited an aptitude and desire for teaching.
- Expect to carry at least twelve college hours.
- The following data must reach the Grant-in-Aid Chair at the address below for arrival on or before March 1, 2024:

- Application form
- Her most recent transcript
- Three letters of recommendation shall be submitted with the application form by:
- Two high school instructors
- One active Delta Kappa Gamma member
