NOTE: The State of Arkansas hereby notifies the defendant, it intends to pursue enhanced penalties pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated5-64-411 since it is alleged that the sales of Methamphetamines were within one thousand feet of the real property of the Cherry Hill Baptist Church, subjecting him to an additional consecutive sentence of ten (10) years.

  1. A ten-year enhancement for being naughty within a thousand feet of a church? On a Tuesday when there wasn’t even anyone at the freakin’ church? Whoever came up with that travesty of justice was out of their multiple-obscenity mind. Even without a law degree I could raise some serious Constitutional questions about that vindictive idiocy.

    Out of curiosity, was that thousand feet measured as the crow flies or by the road?
