Virgil Howard and Willa Mae Ryals were married on August 23, 1953, in the Shady Grove community.
In 1961, the couple made their home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, until they relocated back to the Mena area in 2004. Their home was filled with three children, two sons Henry Howard, of San Angelo, Texas and Randy Howard of Hugo, Oklahoma, and one daughter, Lanelle Howard Brand of Greenville, Texas. Their family has been blessed with 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
All friends and family of Virgil and Willa Howard are invited to join them in celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary. The celebration will be hosted by their children and grandchildren on Saturday, August 24th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Howard’s residence in Mena. No gifts please.
