Ouachita Broadcasting and Pulse Multi-Media are the area’s first choice for local news, events, features and entertainment. Our platforms reach thousands on a daily basis through print (The Polk County Pulse), radio (KENA 104.1 FM, KQOR 105.3 FM, Good News Gospel 1450 AM) and web (MyPulseNews.com). We are proud to be the area’s leader in multi-media platforms of delivery for both consumers and advertisers.
Distributing 8,000 copies each Wednesday, The Polk County Pulse (print edition) is the county’s largest news publication as it accurately reflects “The Heartbeat of Our Community.” Through the support of advertisers, The Polk County Pulse is a FREE publication. The on-line publication, MyPulseNews.com, was launched July 31, 2013. While similar in content, each offer their own unique features.
KENA 104.1 FM is “Today’s Best Country” and is the home of The Morning Show with Sam Jordan. KENA 104.1 FM has consistently been the area’s first source for local news and music since 1950 and while a lot has changed over 65 years, KENA has remained the area’s #1 radio station.
Classic Hits 105.3/KQOR-FM plays the biggest hits of the 70’s and 80’ and 90’s. From Bob Seger and Tears for Fears to Def Leppard and Queen, Classic Hits 105.3 plays the hits you grew up with!
Good News Gospel/1450 KENA-AM is where you receive the word of the Lord through church programming and Gospel Music. The original KENA continues to serve the people of the Ouachita’s as it has for decades.
Both 104.1 KENA-FM and Classic Hits 105.3/KQOR-FM are streamed from the www.MyPulseNews.com website and may also be listened to on your smart device or tablet by downloading our apps from the ITunes Store or Google.
