Holly Harshman Elementary hosted their annual Father/Daughter Night Friday, April 25th! This has became a very popular event where fathers and daughters make precious memories with an evening of good food, fun and dancing. Parental Involvement Coordinator, Vicky Maye reminded the fathers of the importance of setting the bar on modeling how the young ladies are supposed to be treated. Maye shared, “This should be the beginning of many date nights that you have with your daughter making sure that you make her a priority and demonstrate how a yound lady should be treated!” It was a packed house and Missie Reeves, the HHE chair for the event out did herself once again with the decor and fabulous finger foods! HHE building principal, Paulette Sherrer surveyed the girls for the playlist of music for the evening and door prizes and a personal photo as a memory marker was provided for all participants free of charge in an effort to encourage parental involvement at it’s best. Thanks to all who made the evening such a success. Approximately 224 attended the event. Thanks to everyone for your help with the event and most of all thanks to the dads for taking the time to make such a difference in your daughter’s life!
