Resurfacing has begun this week as part of the continuing scheduled projects on roadways in North and South Polk County. Polk County Judge Brandon Ellison said that, except for the yellow striping, the projects should be complete by next Tuesday, September 23.
In total, the projects have improved around 20 miles of roadways by building new drainage ditches, installing drainage pipe, widening roads, heightening elevation, applying road base, and resurfacing.
