Arkansas Sales Tax Holiday is This Weekend

Arkansas will hold its annual Sales Tax Holiday this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, August 1^st and 2^nd. During the annual holiday, no state or local sales taxes are collected on certain school related items. The 48-hour period includes no sales tax on clothing and footwear that cost less than $100 per item, clothing accessories and equipment that costs less than $50 per item, school supplies, school art supplies, and school instructional materials.
