Arkansas will hold its annual Sales Tax Holiday this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, August 1st and 2nd. During the annual holiday, no state or local sales taxes are collected on certain school related items. The 48-hour period includes no sales tax on clothing and footwear that cost less than $100 per item, clothing accessories and equipment that costs less than $50 per item, school supplies, school art supplies, and school instructional materials.
