Polk County Developmental Center has announced the retirement of Mr. David Ray from its Board of Directors. Ray began his tenure on the Board in July of 1998, serving as President from 2004-2013.
Through his time on the board, Ray has seen many changes come to PCDC over the last 18 years including the expansion of the Recycle Center, Resale Store and Jumpstart Preschool. He has worked with three Executive Directors, as well as many local business people while serving on the Board.
PCDC said in a released statement that Ray “has been a cornerstone on the PCDC Board and will be greatly missed.”
