With 1:38 left in the third quarter, the Bearcats retook the lead from Prescott with a Daniel Davis jumper inside the lane, to make the score 37-35. In the last forty-five seconds of the third quarter, Mena scored seven points, to extend their lead to twelve, 47-35, going into the final quarter of play. In the fourth quarter, the Curley Wolves were held to only six points, as Mena scored eleven points of their own, to make the final score 58-41.
Connor Harvey led the Mena Bearcats with 16 points in the game, as Blake Seals added on 13 points, and Nick Myers and Brock Strother both chipped in 9 points each.
Also on Friday night, the Mena Ladycats matched up against Prescott but fell short by five, 41-36.
