Jerusha Neufeld is a sophomore at Rich Mountain Community College. After graduating with her associate’s degree in the spring of 2014, she will transfer to a university to complete a bachelor’s degree in English with teacher licensure in order to teach high school English. She says, “Student Support Services has been invaluable to my academic success. SSS has made my time at RMCC easier and enjoyable.” Jerusha was chosen because she is active in RMCC student organization events and activities. She continues to maintain a high grade point average in addition to working part-time and taking an active role in her four children’s school activities. This fall, Jerusha was selected to represent Rich Mountain Community College as one of 22 Arkansas community college Academic All-Stars.
