Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to a rape.

 

July 23, 2025

Deputies responded to a report of a theft on Polk 6 near Wickes.

 

July 24, 2025

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 171 near Mena in reference to a disturbance leading to the arrest of Brandy Gallop, 45, of Mena on a charge of Breaking or Entering. Gallop was also served a Failure to Appear Warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 74 near Mena in reference to a physical altercation leading to the arrest of Tyner Langley, 28, of Mena on charges of Aggravated Assault and Resisting Arrest. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Shawn Watson, 50, of Grannis was arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department on charges of Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License and Speeding.

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to harassment.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence near West Boundary Road near Mena in reference to a dispute. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 56 near Mena in reference to a welfare check.

Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle accident on Hwy 246 E near Vandervoort leading to the arrest of Andrew Black, 23, of Vandervoort on a charge of DWI.

 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 2 vehicle accidents this week.
