July 28, 2025

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 88 near Ink in reference to a possible protection order violation leading to the arrest of Nathaniel James, 26, of Mena on charges of Public Intoxication and Violation of a No Contact Order.

Deputies were dispatched to a business near Cove in reference to a home being damaged on Polk 23.

 

July 29, 2025

Cindy Watkins, 62, of Cove was arrested by an officer with the Arkansas State Police on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

Deputies responded to a report of issues with a neighbor’s dogs.

A traffic stop on Hwy 88 E near Mena led to Autumn Briley being given a citation for possession of a schedule VI controlled substance.

 

July 30, 2025

Deputies were dispatched to a storage facility near Cove in reference to a break-in.

Deputies responded to the report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was later located.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 47 near Mena in reference to a theft.

 

July 31, 2025

Austin Matheson, 28, of Hatfield was arrested on a Bond Revocation Warrant.

Deputies responded to a report of a physical altercation. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

 

August 1, 2025

Deputies responded to Robin Lane near Acorn in reference to the theft of services.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Penny Lane near Mena in reference to property damage.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hatton Lane near Wickes in reference to a physical disturbance leading to the arrest of William Hinkle, 51, of Cove on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

 

August 2, 2025

Bradley Roberts, 27, of Cove was arrested by an officer with the Arkansas State Police on charges of No Seatelt, Failure to Register Vehicle, Careless and Prohibited Driving, and DWI II.

Audra Cogburn, 35, of Mena was arrested on a charge of 3rd Degree Battery.

David Pajuodis, 49, of Mena was arrested on charges of 3rd Degree Battery and 3rd Degree  Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

 

August 3, 2025

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to harassment. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 646 near Mena in reference to stolen property.

Deputies responded to a report of a trespasser at a business near Wickes.

Deputies responded to a report of an unattended wrecked side by side near Mena.

Trenton Head, 21, of Mena was arrested on charges of Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test and DWI.

 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 1 vehicle accident this week.
