It’s that time of year for the boys and ghouls to get out the crayons, colored pencils or markers (no paints or glitter, please) for the annual Halloween Coloring Contest. You can pick up a copy of The Ouachita Trading Post Oct. 1, 8 or 15 issue and tear out the coloring page. The deadline is noon on Friday, Oct. 17, to turn it in to one of the sponsors: Keller Williams, Miners A&B Tire, Select Realty, or Polk County Developmental Center (PCDC).

There are a few more rules and stipulations on the coloring page, so pay close attention to them and good luck! There are winners in four different age categories, and the winners will get their photo taken along with their prize and their coloring entry to be placed in the Oct. 29 edition of The Ouachita Trading Post, just in time for Halloween!
