Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 32 near Cove in reference to harassment.
Deputies were dispatched to a structure fire on Polk 681 near Cherry Hill.
Jason Busby, 52, of Cove was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

December 16, 2025
Dillon Basham, 34, of Mena was arrested by an officer with the Arkansas State Police on a
warrant for 3rd Degree Domestic Battery and on a Parole Hold.

December 17, 2025
Crystal Knapp, 49, of Mena was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.
Joseph Derting, 49, of Mena was arrested on two Failure to Appear Warrants.
April Scroggins, 43, of Mena was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant and on a Body
Attachment.
Kendra Davis, 40, of Mena was arrested on a warrant for 3rd Degree Endangering the Welfare of
an Incompetent Person and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

December 18, 2025
Deputies responded to a report of theft by receiving.
Deputies responded to a report of a possible missing person. The subject was later located.
Deputies responded to a report of a theft.
Luis Aguilar, 30, of De Queen was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant and to be held for
another agency.

December 19, 2025
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 980 near Mena in reference to a possible
overdose.
Kyle Wilson, 29, of Waldron was arrested on a warrant for 3rd Degree Assault.

December 20, 2025
Deputies responded to a possible physical altercation.
Deputies were dispatched to a physical domestic disturbance on Polk 43 near Mena leading to
the arrest of James Bailey, 48, of Mena on charges of 3rd Degree Domestic Battery and 3rd Degree
Battery.
Deputies were dispatched to a report of a reckless driver near Wickes leading to Jimmy Glenn,
18, of Wickes being issued a citation for Minor in Possession.

December 21, 2025
An incident at a local business led to the arrest of Aramis Candelaria, 23, of Hatfield on charges
of Possession of Firearm by Certain Person, Possession of Methamphetamine or Cocaine,
Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and on a
Parole Revocation. Also arrested was Stephanie Thomas, 49, of Mena on charges of Possession
of Methamphetamine or Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Martin Rodriguez,
24, of Mena on a charge of Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 3 vehicle accidents this week.
Polk County Detention Center Jail Population: 38 Incarcerated Inmates with 6 Inmates
currently on the Waiting List for a State Facility.
