The Polk County Health Unit is preparing for their annual mass flu clinic that will be held on Friday October 23rd, 2015. The Health Unit will also be going into the schools again this year to provide the flu clinic on campus. Schools sent packets home with students last week to be filled out and returned if your child will be receiving their vaccine at the school.
The dates for each school’s flu clinics are:
Monday, October 12th, at the Acorn school campus; Tuesday, October 13th, at Mena High School and Mena Middle School; Wednesday, October 14th, at Louise Durham and Holly Harshman; Friday, October 16th, at Cossatot River campuses.
There will also be a mass clinic on Friday, October 23rd, 2015 9:00-4:00 PM at the Polk County Health Unit at 702 Hornbeck in Mena. “Folks are welcome to stop by the health unit before the mass clinic and pick up a flu consent form to fill out and bring with them on the day of the mass clinic if they wish,” said Polk County Health Unit Administrator Brenda Huff.
