Michael received his Bachelors of Health Science with a minor in Nutrition and Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas. He continued pursuing his educational goal and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 2013. He was born and raised in Mena, but moved to Ocala, Florida following graduation, where he practiced at Strive Physical Therapy serving as Regional Director of Outpatient Therapy for three clinics.
Michael, his wife Jennifer, and daughter Lexi (3 months old) now reside in Mena. Jennifer also has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and specializes in Pediatrics.
“I am excited to join the excellent team at MRHS and bring my experience and enthusiasm to the Rehab Team. I am looking forward to serving the community and improving the quality of life of everyone I have the pleasure of interacting with both professionally and personally,” Michael Wood, DPT.
