The curtain is going up….on a summer camp filled with excitement and the magic of theatre.
RMCC’s Theatre Summer Camp is a new and wonderful opportunity for ages 12-18. This week long camp runs from June 16th through June 21st, Monday -Friday, 8:00 am till noon. Camp instructors guide and motivate young performers through acting, improv, theatre dance, musical theatre, makeup, and stage combat. Working on songs, dance, movement, and improv from the musical Godspell, every camper has a part to play, learning theatre skills from experienced theatre professionals. Parents, family, and friends are encouraged to attend the camp finale “showcase of talent” on Saturday, June 21st at 11 am with a reception to follow. Children hone their unique talents, develop confidence, and discover the joy of being on stage.
Camp tuition is $75; registration begins on May 1 and ends on June 6th. Students should wear clothing and footwear suitable to movement and dance. For more information contact Maureen Keese at 479-394-7622 x 1311 or mkeeese@rmcc.edu.
