Philip Hensley, President and CEO of Union Bank of Mena and Union Bank Shares, Inc. has announced the promotions of Jason Sullivan to Vice President of Lending, Patty Young to Vice President of Lending and Secondary Market Mortgages, Brian Hensley to Vice President and Controller, Heather Grenier to Vice President of Loan Administration, and Aloma Gilbert to Vice President and Hatfield Branch Manager.
Also, promoted were Kyle Cannon to Assistant Vice President and Wickes Branch Manager, Scott Parish to Assistant Vice President of Information Technology, and Heather Risley to Loan Officer.
Sullivan joined Union Bank in June 2008 as a loan officer. He has a Bachelor of Science in Education and is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, Arkansas and Barret Graduate School of Banking, Memphis, Tennessee. He specializes in commercial, residential, and consumer lending.
Young joined Union Bank in 2009 as a loan officer. She is a Cum Laude graduate of Aurora University, Aurora, Illinois with a degree in Professional Management. In addition to commercial, consumer, and real estate lending she specializes in Secondary Market Mortgage Loans.
Hensley joined Union Bank in 2008 as a loan officer. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and is a graduate of Henderson State University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas and Barret Graduate School of Banking, Memphis, Tennessee. Hensley works in the finance area of the bank and its holding company, Union Bank Shares, Inc.
Grenier joined Union Bank in March 1995 as a loan teller. She is a graduate of Mena High School and Rich Mountain Community College. Grenier is responsible for loan administration and all loan assistants.
Gilbert joined Union Bank in 1970 as a teller. She is a graduate of Hatfield High School and has completed various banking courses from University of Arkansas at Fort Smith and Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Arkansas. She oversees the Hatfield Branch and also specializes in consumer lending.
Cannon joined Union Bank in 2012 as a loan officer. He is a Mena High School graduate and attended the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas. He manages the Wickes branch and also specializes in agriculture, real estate and consumer lending.
Parish joined Union Bank in 2010 as an Information Technology Analyst. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas and Master of Information Systems degree from University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas. He works with the banks holding company to support the technology needs of its two banks.
Risley joined Union Bank in 2009 as a teller. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business degree from Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, Arkansas. She specializes in consumer lending and secondary market mortgage lending.
